The Single Phase supply is 220Vac supply, which consists of 2 wires, one wire is Live and the other one is Neutral. These live and Neutral wires come from the distribution transformer to the energy meter and then directly connected to the main distribution board “MDB” in our homes. 2 kV on the primary side and step it down to 120V single-phase and 120/240V split-phase for residential applications.
